Former BNP voters who feel "swamped" by immigrants are turning to UKIP as a "decent" and "non-racist" alternative, UKIP's deputy chairman Neil Hamilton has said.

Is this the same Tory Neil Hamilton who's wife became a celeb on the back of his being investigated for corruption?

Well it attracted him.

But Neil Hamilton, who has been a senior figure in UKIP for some years and is standing as a local council candidate, said all parties had activists "who may have said something unpleasant on social media".

Someone like him should be barred from ever standing for political office ever again - as should any MP caught fiddling their expenses.

Where's oscar she's the best qualified to comment.
