“He’s exactly the way he’s supposed to be.

Post by Betty Boop »

Last week I was surfing the Internet and came across a headline proclaiming autism and circumcision are linked. I couldn’t help myself. I laughed out loud.

I am not a scientist, but I am a mother — I know why my son has autism - Comment - Voices - The Independent

What a lovely article, I laughed too at the circumcision link :wah:. I remember when fighting to get some sort of diagnosis for my son years ago being told that I was an over fussy first time Mother and that I basically didn't know if he was any different. All my family were picking up on him being 'different' and I had spent years looking after my nephews whilst my sister worked weekends so it was a bit of a stupid assumption for a doctor to make

One thing is for sure though, as frustrated as he can make us feel, and as frustrating as life sometimes is for him, he sure is 'exactly the way he's supposed to be'.
