The Tories have begun turning the screw.

Post by Bruv »

Newly appointed Business Secretary Sajid Javid has said there will be "significant changes" to strike laws under the new Conservative government.

A strike affecting essential public services will need the backing of 40% of eligible union members under government plans, he said.

And I thought we had rather tight laws regarding strikes
I thought I knew more than this until I opened my mouth

If you think about it though, it is more fair. I kinda forces folks to stand up for something if they believe in it and it keep a few power hungry union members from forcing decisions on others that may not agree with them. It appears that being a 'no show' equals a NO vote.
I expressly forbid the use of any of my posts anywhere outside of FG (with the exception of the incredibly witty 'get a room already' )posted recently.

Folks who'd like to copy my intellectual work should expect to pay me for it.:-6
