It's funny, but true heroes do not consider themselves as such. They just do what needs to be done to help others. I'm proud of those guys.

If those young American guys, and the older Brit, hadn't attacked the attacker, I am certain that we would be reading reports of yet another terrible tragedy perpetrated by terrorists. I guess one could say that those brave men probably saved the lives of over 500 people ! Had that incident happened in the UK then I would hope that the George Cross would have been awarded to the men. Richly deserved !
I'm a Saga-lout, growing old disgracefully

I hope you're not going to drool on the page and go into a self-hypnotic state by shouting "USA! USA! USA!"

Yes, I'm sure you're right. I'm thinking about that spree on the beach in Sousse recently.

You've every reason to feel proud of them! Those brave Americans, and a Brit, saved dozens, if not hundreds of lives on that train! What if the terrorist had got into the cab, killed the driver, then jammed the 'dead man's handle' in the 'on' position? It could easily have become a high-speed RUNAWAY train with major risk of collision with another train!
