Tax reciepts drop,deficit rises.

A fall in income tax receipts sent Britain’s deficit spiralling to £12.1bn in August, the widest shortfall in government funding since 2012.

The Office for National Statistics said a dip in corporation tax receipts was also to blame for the worsening situation, which will put pressure on George Osborne ahead of tough expenditure decisions due in November when Whitehall agrees its five-year spending targets.

What ? With all those new jobs they created ?

Well I paid mine. I'm not so sure Starbucks paid theirs though. Osborne better ask Amazon to cough up before he asks me to pay any more

You don't earn enough to be able to afford a Tax specialist to 'advise' you.

You're right. The £200.00 I pay my accountant every year probably wouldn't stretch to that

I suspect that if I relied on that advice those multinationals depend on, I would get a letter in a brown envelope and an interview

Osborne hasn't even run a sweet-shop before, (though he runs a sweat-shop now), so what makes him the appropriate person to run the UK economy? Book-learned theorists, the lot of them! Most of these 'toffs' come through private

schools, into 'Oxbridge', then straight into the 'Westminster bubble', without coming within 'spitting distance' of reality!!
