China has awarded its home-grown equivalent of the Nobel Peace Prize to Robert Mugabe, the man accused of driving Zimbabwe into poverty during his rule of more than three decades.
I wonder if the economic vacuum made by the West and filled by the Chinese has anything to do with this award ?
Or do we all view Mugabe's rule through propaganda filled eyes ?

You don't think poverty in Zimbabwe has anything to do with sustained long-term Western sanctions and the trade embargo?
I'd classify sanctions and trade embargoes as weapons of mass destruction if I were asked, and their deployment as war crimes. Why blame the President of Zimbabwe? when you have a far more obvious and blatant cause.
