I am not asking you, I am ****ing telling you! Fantasy based religions should be banned.
I do not swear much, but with so many believers of fantasy around, ---
Some here will defend fantasy based religions; --- even as they see that stupid people who infest what could be decent creeds are the causes of much evil. I say stupid because that is what the root cause of fantasy belief is.
Islam is as Christianity was before it matured. Islam will mature in 2050. Est. The tipping point of belief.
Does the West really want to suffer fantasy based religions for that long?
Just so you will know. I owe one of those religions quite a bit for past help; but religions based on fantasy are proving to be an evil that we, --- in terms of evolving ideologies, --- can surly do without.
The Eastern religions, notably some forms of Buddhism are superior.
I would ask all those who follow fantasy based religions, to look back at the blood soaked history of your particular creed, one of many, and ask yourself why, in these modern days, you support a fantasy based religion.
I am not a nice guy but I know evil when I see it and fantasy based religions are evil.

You do understand don't you that the concept of evil you claim to be able to see comes from those very same fantasy religions. People who follow these religions are not stupid or idiots just banning them will not work.

No, I don't support evil but I do support logic and the ability to conduct a reasoned and well constructed discussion, an ability that you seemingly lack completely.
So far you have failed to engage my sense of morals, indeed you know nothing of them as all you have done is try to dictate what I should find moral / immoral backed up with specious arguments and unsupported statistics take without controls and without reasonable points of reference - still less do you know anything of my beliefs as you ride roughshod over any that do not match your own.
The categorisation of anyone who does not agree with you as "not too bright" is typical of those whose thinking is so rigid that they cannot see another point of view - such narrow mindedness is, in itself, "not too bright".
I would suggest that you get on board the Garden's train and start discussing the issues rather than trying to proselytize your own rather extreme beliefs.

I do not recognise the term "Christ" as that, by definition, is a deitific term. Jesus, however, is the given name of the individual (whether he really existed or not). The preachings of Jesus, as a man, were more a matter of Community Politics than anything to do with Religion. It's just because the ideas were so radical that they became elevated by his followers to the heights of a deity.
If one accepts the word "Christ" as simply meaning a political thinking, then fine - there is nothing wrong with Christianity. It's all the hocus pocus that stems from it that I have problems with.

Which creed. There are several. The creeds in hind sight were a mistake. The were of course the best they could do at the time with their fund of knowledge etc. However according to scholars including Jewish scholars the Bible was written to be reinterpreted as our fund of knowledge and understanding grew and changed. epilepsy is not caused by demon possession. If the faith or for that matter any faith is to remain viable then we must acxcept the fact that a living language is dead if it does not advance with the times. The Creeds stagnate the faith because they remain in a language and understandings that have not kept up with the times. For instance Gentle Jesus Meek and Mild is not an accurate interpretation. The word posted as meek actually meant weak or weakness. The I adm is now in question. The Bible is not a translation in fact it is an interpretation of the ancient language which was an interpretation of their experiences as they tried to interpret them. The bast way os not to ban religion but to dop away with seperate religious schools and make reading the bible compulsory and also the history of how it came to be written. Most christians have never actually read it for themselves except or the bits they are told to and most don't know just how selective the early church was in composing the bookd=s of the bible..

Tribalism is the need or want that the religious are appeasing.
They do not care about God or morals or they would have read their holy books and would also know some of the history that created the now immoral creeds that most follow.

The catholic church didn't want people to read the bible for themselves becauise once they could they would no longer need priests to interpret it for them and they (the people) would find out how much bull**** they have been sold. On ce the printing press was invented the writing was on tyhe wall for religious power in europe. Islam is the same - for a supposed universalist religion the requierement to read it in arabic seems not to make any sense.
