An appeal is possible

Post by spot »

Mr Fletcher's lawyer William Zieske said the lawsuit was brought in good faith and an appeal is possible.

Artist Peter Doig wins case over painting he said was not his work - BBC News

If William Zieske said "an appeal is possible" then he should be struck off. On what possible ground could anyone even pretend an appeal is possible, given the facts shown in the article? An artist has been insulted, inconvenienced, his skills traduced and his integrity challenged, and William Zieske thinks "an appeal is possible"? Is William Zieske so deficient that, having wrongly called Peter Doig a liar in court, he now thinks the word "appeal" means "apology"?
