Health care world wide is improving. The latest "Life expectancy to break 90 barrier by 2030"........in South Korea.
The USA is going in the opposite direction despite having the highest health care costs, and the only country in the world without universal health insurance......which I find astounding.
This news at a time when the NHS is going down hill fast, creeping privatisation gathering pace rapidly to a gallop. It very obvious this drive is purely for financial gain, when it is clear that a universal system of cradle to the grave health care lowers costs and benefits the nation.

I thought I knew more than this until I opened my mouth

Universal health care is one of the great triumphs of socialism we have a govermnment ideolically opposed to the very concept is socialised anything now they are just getting to the point where they can start to undo to undo it all and they're gettinh away with it even soidding labour helped with the rot convincing themselves tory lite is what the people actually want. Only a half it would want privatised healthcare I'm all for people having the choice let them opt out of the NHS if they want even reduce the NI contributions if they want but make it clear they will have to pay should they need to use it in any way I suspect the numbers taking up the offer would be minimal. In the USA they never really had the debate it all gets lost in the myth of a detached government interfering in peoples lives.
