I had thought the BBC saluted the concept of impartial broadcasts.
This morning, a few minutes after 9am, I turned on Radio 4 while brewing coffee the way you do on a Sunday morning and there was a chap. On the steps of Portland Square. With the entire band of the Coldstream Guards in full uniform. And they brass-banded their way through Who Do You Think You Are Kidding Mrs Merkel.
The BBC's patriotic bias in the Brexit debate is starting to show.

When flower power came along I stood for Human Rights, marched around for peace and freedom, had some nooky every night - we took it serious.
Who has a spare two minutes to play in this month's FG Trivia game! ... My other OS is Slackware.

The BBC has been under sustained attack since the referendum "debate" by far right brexiters wanting more pro-Brexit stories and accusing it of left wing EU bias. This attack is still going on especially in the Politics section of the BBC's website on the Have Your Say threads, but it can crop up anywhere and often has a racist subtext: I found a Rugby comment about making London white again (and managed to get it removed as racist). This collection of despicables get backing from the pro-Putin posters who give their man unconditional support and make slight non-native style spelling and grammar errors.
It may be starting to have an effect, especially after the manic brexit tories wrote their letter condemning the BBC's lack of support for brexit. ( I gather a different group of MPs wrote in support of the BBC's impartiality in response)
edit: Cleaned the cooker yesterday. 6 rings and 2 ovens. It really needed it. My wonderful girlfriend helped (it must be love) and you can forget all these evil cleansing products for most jobs: bicarbonate of soda and white wine vinegar together (left awhile if necessary) cut through almost anything! Bruv: sympathy. Agree re plumber.

chuckle. Some might be you, but it's hard to fake these sorts of error consistently especially across multiple posters (some) with multiple accounts. They are playing into an area of strength of mine as an Eng Lit and Lang graduate with a talent for close textual analysis, and ex English teacher. (edit: with minor TEFL and psychology qualifications which help a bit, too)

Try putting up with the anti snp stance of the bbc and apparent inability to accept that alex salmond is no longer leader of the snp. nick robertson should hgave been sacked for his actions during the rererendum in deliberately editing interviews with salmond to give the impression he wasn't answering questions put to him.

Didn't need to see a letter to know that Scotland would be welcome in the EU. Spain's attitude shift did that.

...David Icke...? Come on...
I'm aware the BBC like all human institutions can make mistakes, and people make complaints. It has always been thus. What I'm talking about is over and above that. If an article is not clearly and completely pro-brexit, it is attacked as pro-EU propaganda.

Why should Pro-EU campaigners be considers "Left Wing"? Might I remind you that despite the majority of the vote being Pro-Leave, the majority of BOTH sides of the House were Pro-Remain. I am definitely very Left of Centre, but I am also very Pro-Leave. Leave or Remain is neither Left or Right - it's Cross Party. If it were Left Wing Politics, the way Labour is divided at the moment, because of the Blairite influx, the vote would have been much greater to Leave than it actually was.
