Why no news coverage

Post by Bruv »

I saw a post on Facebook about a large march in London yesterday 25th June 2017, and why has it not received coverage. So I made a search with this specific search "June 25th 2017 London Football Lads march" and here is all I could find.

The Times

Discussionist

Youtube Where there were more clips to be fair.

But why no coverage on TV news or daily papers ?
I thought I knew more than this until I opened my mouth

It was smaller than the other march?

The Football Lads march is mentioned toward the end of the news article.

So why hasn't the EDL march in Birmingham been newsworthy either ?

It was a sunny weekend, there was a lot of it out there. I was on a bus headed to Aldwych on Saturday early afternoon and it stopped in frozen traffic, fourteen police vans and a squad of twenty riot shields jogged east with an occasional siren, nobody moved for thirty minutes. When we progressed past Charing Cross station there were a couple of hundred demonstrators kettled into the drop-off car area, all waving banners about Grenfell Tower and Breaking the Lord's Commandment Not to be a Disturbance on a Saturday Afternoon. I'm the wrong person to shout "what do we want" at through a £10 eBay megaphone and six D-cells, it makes every issue sound petty.
