America is indispensable for the world -george -bush

By all means enter the thread title as a Google search.

No results found for "America is indispensable for the world" -george -bush.

The only person recorded as using the expression is George W Bush.

George W Bush was claiming they were the words of Winston Churchill. They weren't.

George W Bush is still just as misunderestimated as ever. What a wally.

The full statement made by Bush was:

"America is indispensable for the world. The price of greatness is responsibility,""

Churchill did say " The price of greatness is responsibility,"

Next to Trump, he looks like Lincoln. From Land of the Free to Land of the Freaks...

Applies to the UK too, at present.

Lone voice: "I'm not."

That it was a quote from Winston Churchill? An instance or example of someone saying that would be useful, I don't know of it.

IT was apparently dreamed up as a slogan after the Cold was was declared officially over. Where bush got it, may never be known. One of his illustrious speech writers, no doubt.

I am not sure what the point is, of going back to the past to badmouth Baby Bush, now, unless it is to show that Donald is not the ONLY American President guilty of the Mis-quoted word.
