Unable to work Sir,

Post by capt_buzzard »

A man who claimed he was too disabled to work and was 'virtually unable to walk' was jailed for fraud in Manchester UK after investigators discovered that he wrestiled with alligators. The man was claiming disability sickness benefit.

Officers found pictures of him wrestling alligators and riding a camel, and also discovered that he had a black belt in the martial art.

haha! capt. b. this case is certainly, most unusual for the fact that this fraudulent demon was so blatantly overt with his 'healthy self' as opposed to his 'disabled self'.

my older brother anthony is an industrial law barrister and quite regularly receives briefs (still bound, in red silk ribbon, how amusingly quaint) for defence of similar matters. on one occasion after watching a prosecutorial tape sent with the brief, clearly showing anth's 'diabled/injured client attending to heavy manual labour activities in his own back yard (caught on P.I. survelliance camera) i distinctly remember him exclaiming... " oh well, we're screwed!"

i'm glad losers like this get nabbed, it's just a pity they demean or ruin the system for genuinely aggrieved/injured workers.
