Your favorite food??

Post by robinseggs »

Well everyone, I almost put this thread in the "Fitness and Nutrition" plot, but since this could get pretty ugly (LOL), I stuck it here. Just wondering--what is everyone's favorite food? You know, the one you are addicted to--the one you would eat every day if possible??!! Mine is noodles! Love them. My hubby is addicted to spicy chicken wings. How bout you?

Chicken & dumplings. Not those ball-type dumplings! Properly rolled & cut dumplings only. MMmmmmm Mmmmmm!

I love anything chicken. Most days I'll take chicken over steak. Probably because I was raised po. PO! We had so little money we hocked the last two letters to help pay bills.

I skoff at vegetarians! You don't want to be a vegetarian; it's against human nature. We have incisors and canine teeth! We were made to eat meat! Celebrate your carnivorism (is that a word?) with a nice BLT with extra ketchup and be proud!

I would have to say that my very favorite is mom's liver & onions w/mashed potatoes & gravy. But Mom also made the best fried shrimp too. We used to live in Biloxi & had friends who were shrimpers, so we always ate very fresh shrimp! YUMMMMYY!!

Peanut Butter.

No jelly-never! Blasphemy to mix that fruity stuff with the yummy peanut butter.

I make my sandwiches out of anything:usually torts and rice cakes.

Rees Cups-good use of the golden goodness of peanut butter.

Always washed down with diet coke.

:) I work at a Poultry Plant (in personnel). Maybe I can get a good deal for you on chicken. You can buy, at our shipping department, a 40 pound box of cut chicken pieces sometimes for chicken scratch.:yh_chickn

I LOVE raw fish = sushi. It doesn't taste or smell like fish at all. Kind of has the consistency of a very rare steak. Mmmm. And I've eaten bugs, too. Grubs and crickets. They were pretty good except the crickets char pretty easily...don't like the taste of char.

You know Ive been tempted to buy Lucky Charms (I understand theyve changed the marshmallow colors) say it aint so !

Ive also toyed with the idea of a Cocoa Puff party or Count Chocula fun fest.

What if its not the same though ?

Maybe I should just keep my fond cereal memories intact.

Maybe I should just keep my fond cereal memories intact. While there have been minor changes over the years... they are usually just "limited time" phases... The basic flavor of Lucky Charms and Cocoa Puffs has not changed.

Oh yes! I am a cereal fanatic too....Just so you know, I think w/ the Lucky Charms they have only added colors/shapes, so really I think there are more marshmallows in there than ever before. And ya know, I would be just fine if those cereal people wanted to eliminate the cat food pieces althogether and make it JUST THE MARSHMALLOWS!!!! Yummy! Just finished my late night cereal--had Fruit Loops and the box said New-Cherry.............well don't really think its any different??
