2 yr anniversary coming up soon.....I desparately need gift ideas !

My uncle just died in May. He bought a rose for is wife on their first anniverary. On their second, he bought two roses. On their third he bought three roses and so on. He was buying more than fifty when she died, then he started taking them to the cemetery until he died.

Oh, that is so sweet Clint. Yes Nomad, ladies love flowers! And though they may protest, candy also! It's not the usual cop-out, it is romantic. Take her to her favorite place to dine, and to go dancing! You have to add a mushy card with everything too!

Hmmm the last time I bought flowers for her I stuck my face in them to inhale the aroma and I gouged a pice of my cornea out, theres was actually a chunk of my eye missing.

Cool thing about that was within 36 hrs the eye had completely regenerated itself.

You have to be original. I am totally against the flower thing just cuz every lady likes them...the flower petals on the floor to the bedroom and on the bed....Or what my X did on our first was take balloons a whole bunch(maybe 25-30) with long strings attached (light pink) i believe and hang them so they cover the bedroom ceiling and the tails hang down(helium filled).....its so pretty........:-4

Don't stick your face that far in the roses, they are beautiful but dangerous at the same time, just like women..

I say flowers, dinner, and some jewelry earrings maybe something simple and tasteful, or a bracelet..:-4

How about...buying a special rose bush to plant in the garden...it will be there year after year....if you do that every year you could end up with a fantastic rose garden....how I wish that had been done for me.

A special meal for 2 is always good..

Jewellry...doesn't have to be gold just something she likes that will last forever.

A special weekend away....don't forget to take photos to remind you of a great time

A camera to record all the special moments you have together

Sort through some photos and make up an album of 'memories'

Whatever you do have a great life together
