Women Drivers!!!
My wife is the worst sideseat driver when she rides with me. First I'm going too slow, then I don't take a chance and try to make it in a small gap.
But when she drives, it's like riding in a Nascar racer's machine in heavy traffic. Once she even passed a semi on a blind hill in the mountains in a no-passing zone. When I objected that it was reckless and dangerous, she got mad and told me, as she always does....."I know what I'm doing!"
Which is her second favorite saying, right after, "I'm not a child!"
Which usually makes me think, "Then why are you doing something childish?" But of course, I'd rather be eaten by alligators than say that out loud.

Were you all aware that women are not even allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia?
But, they may let them drive in the future. (What an a** backward country.)
Saudis: We May Eventually Let Women Drive
CAIRO, Egypt
The king of Saudi Arabia says women may eventually be allowed to drive in the kingdom.
Abdullah, who became king on the death of his half-brother Fahd in August, told ABC that he was committed to increasing the rights of Saudi women, who are currently not permitted to drive cars and who need a male relative's permission to travel abroad or attend university.
"I believe the day will come when women drive," he said. "In fact, if you look at the areas in Saudi Arabia, the deserts and in the rural areas, you will find that women do drive.
Driving licenses for women "will require patience. In time, I believe it will be possible," the king said in the ABC report, which was posted on the Internet.
But when pressed on whether he would legalize female driving, Abdullah indicated Saudi men were too conservative for such a step any time soon.
"I value and take care of my people as I would my eyes ... I respect my people," he said.
But, they may let them drive in the future. (What an a** backward country.)

Women Drivers!!!
You know, I guess you can say there was an accident when this lady rammed into my car from behind last summer-first day of summer vacation to boot! She was yakking on her cell phone and not paying attention, she had to pay for fixing my new car. I think they should make a law against cell phone use in cars, but it varies from state to state here.

In 1992, I had a "absolutely mint" 1982 beige Riveria, ( I bought brand new in 82) with beige Leather half landau top, beige leather seats, climate control, wire wheels, wide white wall tires, & every conceivable power option available, that was for all intensive purposes "Totaled". I went to a wedding in NYC, and had tipped a few, so to be safe I spent the night at a relatives house. My beautiful Riveria (always garaged) had to be "parked' out on the street, but I parked it under a "Street Light" for safety. Well, under that street light just put it out on display, cause some SOB "STOLE" it during the wee hours, so to me it was like being "totaled", as I never saw my beauty again!!! :wah:
