Why are some vegetables cheaper?

Went to do some shopping today, I always find carrots are the cheapest fresh veggie how about you, which ones do you find the cheapest?

Usually carrots, green onions and celery.

I buy regular produce but the organic section, my gosh! They want $1.69 for ONE little avocado! Crazy!

organic is outragelely priced.......I watched a show on it.......apparently its not different than regular produce!

my zucchini, yellow squash and cucumbers that came up recently in my flower garden... damned seed bag..:o are just at the picking stage... swing by and help yourselves ladies:D

Good luck! We had two in California. They were great. They're tough to grow from seed though. But I wish you well on them. I adore avocados. They're my favorite. :)

I think its got to do with how easy it is to grow a specific one and the quanitity you get from it.
Life is just to short for drama.
