Never mind. If I bump a thread or two of hers on here she might log in and make up.

Evidence that, before she was stricken, she was capable of pleasant intercourse just as much as the next chap. Are you convinced she's irredeemably lost to the Dark Side?

That's more than I could do, try as I might. Do make her properly aware, peace and goodwill, olive branches scattered, fatted calves slaughtered and ready to roll. Major effort with no ulterior motive. Water under bridge, life's too short, pile it on, I don't expect we'll get many shots at it.

I'm not getting Involved other than a very brief e mail to say you would like her to return to FG with an assured no agenda. That's all I'm saying... I'll do It before I go to bed.

A seven year old thread doesn't exactly prove anything. I'm pretty sure she loathes you, spot. Like, "if I had a knife, I'd carve your head like a jack o'lantern" loathe.

So, whatcha think, guys?

I think there are those who post here with honesty, consistency, and principles that can be bet upon. Then there are those who blow with the conspiratorial wind and are looking for a good dig. They switch teams and attitudes like a fart escapes when a bloated person tries to lift a heavy object.

I don't at this point know what's good form - should one press "DISMISS" after a game, or "REMATCH"? Or should one ask?

I'm slowly coming to recognize the board's component parts but it will take a while to understand their proper use.

Beginner's luck is now officially terminated, I'll lend you my cane.

Good form is to press "Rematch" and to hope, in this instance, that your opponent is fully recovered from two humiliating defeats.

Hint: the first word on the board scores hardly anything (unless of course one can submit a 7 letter word), so don't use any high scoring letters.

And that's the only hint I'm giving you and you're lucky to get that one! Huh!

Does submitting a 7 letter word score extra? I'll look for an opportunity.

At this very moment, I'm leading by 3 points!

BUT, there are 34 letters left so I don't really rate my chances overall

I gave up playing, one of my opponents had an uncanny knack for finding 30+ point words that incorporated three parallel words from earlier entries. I'm pretty sure she was using one of those cheats you can get for smart phones. Losing by 150 points every time kind of took the fun out of it.

One of my work colleagues is like that. And it must be some sort of karma because each time I play her, I get all the i's, u's, v's, o's, c's, etc. none of which make a word. And, I'm ashamed to admit, I get really irritable. One of my other colleagues said to me the other day that she's impossible to beat...I found myself responding that it wasn't just skill, it did also depend on the letters you were given. Defensive or what?

I have spoken with her this afternoon. As I said last night, I'm not getting Involved. I am also not In the habit of sharing private e mails In public so the best I can do Is copy her replies as they concern you and send them to you via private message after I have deleted the personal Info she has written.

You might just as well post them direct to the thread after censoring the content, it'll save me the bother.

I do not post any content however small or Irrelevant from private correspondence through e mail or private message onto a public board and I'm not starting now.

There will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance. Approach the altar sister, the choir's all ready to stand.
