My mom often tells me of the family that lived next door when I was born. Their last name was Bushey and they named their daughter Holly Berry!

I have a family member named Stephen Tyler. He hates being asked "did your parents really love Aerosmith?"

Gosh Mom, parents do the silliest things-no respect for themselves or their children. We had a teacher/parent conference today with a student who is failing in all of his classes. When one teacher mentioned he wouldn't respond to her asking him a question in class on the subject they were studying, the mother told us he didn't have to answer if he didn't want to! Well, where are we going to get with that thinking!

*Nomad, you can have all the snow your heart desires-just don't send it my way!*

Here are three I've run acrossed along the way...

Rhoda Bike

Whoopie Doo

April May June (first, middle & last name)

Also, my dad told me of a woman that he once arrested. Her first name was Female. She pronounced it -- fee-mal-ee.

Can you imagine what some of these names do to these people's self-images and confidence levels?

I used to handle a lot of credit cards, I'l never forget two brothers named:

Harry Dick

Richard Dick (would that be Dick Dick for short?):o

Right now, in one of my classes, I have a kid called "Cretin Padilla"

I wonder if the parents are aware that "Cretin" means "moron.":(

Last year I had Polyanna Dishface. I've seen it all.

I worked for the Internal Revenue Service and had a woman come in to file her return. I had to ask about the names listed. Her two daughters were Gonorrhea, pronouned Go-NOR-ah, and Syphilis, pronounced See-PHI-lia.

I guess she got the correct spelling from somewhere, maybe a health service pamphlet?
