Hahahaha well we could always play Monopoly on one of those nights. Or better yet, how about Cluedo, that's a great game, and one of my favourite of all time, though do you even have that over there?

I'm going to have to bring a selection of mini board games with me, just in case we need them, especially if the weather hampers with one of our days.

Weeder, aren't you just a little bit excited about this? How are both of your sons going to drive you at the same time? Go on, just say you're a little bit excited about this trip you're going to make. Just for me.

Weeder, how are you feeling about your trip? I know the initial euphoria may have worn off (it always does, don't know why) but are you still excited?

I've realised that I may well be the oldest at the FG gathering...shame really because I'm about 3 years old in my mind. But then, I can be the "dippy old woman" can't I?

Girls..... Once you go over 50.... The eyes see each other like we are 15.

Yes, Im still excited. Nervous about that big plane. I am trying to figure how I can drug myself, and take a pillow and blanket with me. Ive also given some thought as to what a mess Im going to look like when I arrive. I may be over 50(gaging as I say that) But Im not dead.

Hehehe thanks Bez, Theia. You know I'm always getting told that I look a fair bit younger than I actually am, (not that I'm complaining!!,) so it will be interesting to see how old you both think I am come May. Just please don't say in my teens, because then I might get worried!! :wah:

Actually, Weeder, they provide a pillow and blanket (well, they did back in November)...you may well need them because I thought it was quite cold at certain times during the flight...must be my age :) And you think I'll look good after a day's arduous navigating around the UK?

Yes, I'll happily be a "golden oldie" Bez. Well, not happily exactly, but well, you know...

You know time sure is flying bye. It seems a while ago, since we were talking about the big event being months away, and know it's only a few short weeks. YIPPEE!!!!!!!

Oh and Theia, BB, I know that u both are travelling up to Raven's on the Friday like myself. Just to let u both know that cross fingers my train will be getting in at about 4.30pm or so, so depending on what time you arrive, we will be able to hopefully spend most of the evening together!!

OK...we won't talk 'age ' any more.....don't want Chris getting a complex :D

To be serious Theia.....can you borrow someones Satellite Navigation Systemfor the weekend of the 6th.

I often go to my brothers in Elsenham......I always get lost near his village (ended up in Stansted airport once) until I got a Tom Tom 300. It is really easy to use and I have never got lost since i bought it. They are around £270 but well worth the money...You'll never get lost again....HONEST !

You can get cheaper Sat Navs by the way

I'll second that. We have a Tom-tom 600 or 700 I can't remember, but it's great and comes in real handy whilst you are trying to drive and navigate at the same time, especially around places like London. Though the voices that accompany it, that's a different story hahaha.

:wah: Well we have the option of both a male and female voice on ours. Both are somewhat bad, but we do tend to have the ladies voice on more often though, as the guy sounds like he hasn't gotten a clue what he is on about, (and before you start this guy is obviously an exception to the norm!! :D :p )

The first thing I did Chris was to switch to the ladies voice.....my husband uses it a lot now in his work lorry driving....he's stuck with the ladies voice because he doesn't know how to change it....he he :D

hehehe well the guy voice sure isn't very friendly, I'm guessing he was just having a bad day when he had his voice taken. Though continually hearing him groan "turn left" does grate on you, hence why he isn't coming back to our sat nav any time soon!! :wah:

Have you ever tried confusing it, by going completely the opposite way it says or continually going around a roundabout?? Oh it's most amusing!! :D
