i am sorry for your troubles, are your children very young? how long has it been since your husband left? does he help with the children? it sounds like you feel overwhelmed.

you do sound like you have too much on your plate...i would think the children could lend you a hand with all the chores? what kind of job do you have? not liking your job is no help either. do you talk to your husband at all?

Why, when you have a 16 and a 19 year old, are you doing all the house work and taking out the trash and taking care of your grandbaby?? What do you do for a living?

Sounds like you need to learn to say NO. Why are you watching the grandchild? Why can't your youngest not ride the bus? How long ago did your husband leave? Does he provide child support? Have you tried looking for a job you'd like better? Can the kids stay with your husband a few days to give you a break?

First girl get yourself to the doctor to get your health up to stuff. The Dr can also suggest places to go for support.

And all the other advise is grand, reach out for help don't do this all alone. Trust me been there done that. Then get into a new job and DON"T GIVE UP>

Hello, mind if I join the discussion?

haylo I went thru much the same thing and I know it's hard. What helped me and I know this seems like a little thing but it worked for me, to just keep reminding yourself that your not alone, a lot of people have been thru it and you will survive and your life will get better. Nothing last forever not even troubles. Good things will happen to you again. just don't give up and don't ever let yourself be overwhelmed. you will make it ;)

Hi haylo_mama, what you're having to do make's Me depressed......!

Thanks so much for posting haylo_mama.

I need a kick in side!

Sometimes some of us get just too relaxed in a lifestyle that's NOT too bad, but by your posting, you bring back memories that many of us have. Just like what's happening to you.

I can see by your post that you're trying the best you can to be the mama you always were. Now you're in a different situation and it's really tough to become someone different then you were for years and years.

If I didn't come here and post today, I would be very remiss in NOT saying that there are a whole of women who are probably in the same situation. Today I have hand knitted three scarfs for abused women. They are so pretty. Not the scarfs, the women!

A kind and peaceful life is what you are looking for. Like

ALL of us.

I don't mean a beautiful house, a maid, beautiful clothes,

I mean you simply need rest. You need a place to be yourself, need the strength to go forward and just a few minutes to say, Thank you God. Thank you for helping me. Thank you God for hanging on to me when I couldn't go forward and walk.

IF you ask, Is there someone to help, other than an online forum, well yes there is.

there is a God, who is a GOOD God (He doesn't have a web site or a chat board) I think you're life will really change.

There are a whole lot of caring people on this forum... and I am sooooo glad you found us.

Your feelings of being overwhelmed are VERY normal.

I remember ........after having five kids...saying, "Please God, Let him sleep....It's just exhausted! Then I remember saying "If I ever become a millionaire, I'm going to get a baby sitter every single week for every mom who

doesn't have someone to help. Well...I'm a dreamer.

I never became a millionaire...but even today..I have so many young people come by and visit..it make's me feel

so good.

You are in my prayers..haylo_mama

she IS awesome!........ i have a feeling that haylo_mama won't be back, she didn't quite get what she was looking for.( i haven't seen her return). she wanted some instant answers which we could not provide, and maybe didn't like the questions of why her essentially grown children weren't helping out.
