When shall we three meet again

upon the blasted moor

that's Abbey and sweet BettyBoob

and Chonsi. pam makes four.

Okay, Alphabet Sisters...

Abbey - thou art an errant pottledeep huggermugger

And as for thou Betty Boop - thou art an infectious follyfallen bugbear

Words fail me when I contemplate Chonsi - for she must surely be nought but a bawdy onioneyed moldwarp - with bells on...

Struth and stap me Chonsi... who do we know who starts with D???

When that I was but a little tiny girl

With a hey ho the wind and the rain

When I was good my hair would curl

But the rain it raineth every day

Actually I've always loved the fool's song and try and remember to sing it every 12 nights after Christmas. The feast of Topsy Turvy.

(pam brushes down her well loved jeans and tries to look elegant !!!)

Okay... I gotta find a few epithets to welcome her with.

Let's say I catch her first thing in the morning, partly made up.. but wearing her high heels and walking like a model .......

Maybe she'd then be a

Ah Spot !!! Dante loved symbolism and allusion and could be bawdy with the best of them, but your rhyme is really rather more in the style of Signor Boccaccio, I think... Grin. And that's fine with me. I'll just get my sunnies!!

I was intrigued Spot when I found in Sydney Uni's Fisher library an old translation of the Decameron. Thought this might help me work through some of the more difficult Italian passages. The intriguing bit was everytime one, used advisedly, arrived at a "dirty bit" - and in Boccaccio this is not infrequently, the text somehow went into OLD French!!!

Well, my Shakespeare teacher took no less delight in steering us to modern versions of plays-we went to one down in Hollywood. I innocently took my mother and step-father with me. It was a scantily dressed cast-top female character had pretty much nothing on the whole play. MY stepfather was delighted, my mother killed me when we got home!
