The Cream Teas were medicinal of course..just to soak up the alcohol...:D

I sadly had to leave Saturday night but BBoop and the Pinkster did it all over again that night... :yh_party

3.2 seconds!! Hehehe that must be some kind of record surely, especially as you say, after such a long car journey!! :D

Well I'm glad that you had such a great time out, sounds like a real blast.

chrisb84uk wrote: Hello all, yes this is no illusion, I have finally returned after what seems like an eternity. If you are wondering where little old me has been well I have had a lot of personal, family reasons that I needed to get straight, and it was very important to deal with these. I hope you will forgive me for not wanting to go into any detail on these, I'm sure you will all understand!

Anyhow, I've just finished my month long holiday as well, (got back on Friday night,) though that was two holidays over the month, not one 30 day hahaha. Been up North to Chester for a week, and just finished touring London again for the last 2 weeks, which has all been great fun with the family.

I hope everyone has been keeping well, and look forward to catching up with you all, just please be gentle I am still very tired and sore from a LOT of walking!!

Yippee you're back....the garden hasn't been the same without you....I've missed you a LOT.

It will take you weeks to catch up but I guess it'll keep you out of mischief for a while :D

Do tell us what you did in your holidays....we're all sitting comfortably....you may begin...:)

Hello Bez, it's great to see you as well!!! But me... mischief..... surely you must have mistaken me with someone else right?? hahaha.

Crikey I'd end up writing a book what with all that we did. I shall try to condense it though for you all. *Takes deep breath*

Well in Chester we were staying with my grandma, so we didn't want to do to much walking, so we spent a lot of time visiting gardens, the local town, the zoo and just generally having a laugh.

In London we battled the rain and went to the British museum (which I still nearly missed some of even though having seen a lot back in May.) Also had visits to Kensington Gardens and Palace (very nice,) the huge Harrods, various history museums, science museum, (very disappointing that.) We also went to Greenwich, the Royal Observatory (excellent,) and the Maritime museum, and all the over usual sights such as Houses of Parliament, 10 Downing Street, Piccadilly Circus etc.

We had such a great time, and despite the rain we all had a lot of fun, and get this even the tube was kind to us, with no problems, delays or huge crowds of people!!

There I need a breather now hahaha.

Oh yes we did go to the Natural History museum as well, (we visited so many museums my brain is kind of fried hahaha.) If I remember right that's the museum that has a huge gallery on gemstones. I love those, so I spent about 2 hours walking around that one exhibition hehehe.

As for what next. I'm not too sure at this moment. I have had a kind of change of heart with what I would like to do in the future. I had always wanted to study Law so I may take that up. But still not 100% yet, but I have a few ideas to consider.

Thank you very much Cher!! I haven't fully decided upon taking that path yet, but I am seriously considering it. I have always found what they do to be fascinating, so who knows maybe one day my dream may come true!

Good luck with that Chris. How long does it take to become a lawyer on the UK? Is that the same as a barrister?

Ah you guys are the greatest! Thanks Susie, Flop, Cars and Zinky, this really means a lot to me.

I never would of guessed that so many people would of missed me, but it just goes to show what wonderful friends I have met here over the last year. So big thanks to you all for being so wonderful!!! :-4

Oh and to answer your question Zinky, yes a barrister is a kind of lawyer, and as to how long it takes, quite a while, especially starting from scratch. Several years of hard, hard work I do believe.
