A few days ago, artichokes are maybe .49 or .59 each. Today, try
$2.59 for ONE ARTICHOKE!!

There go the prices!!
The freeze was terrible - my grapefruit tree looks pitiful, leaves are dropping.
I've been eating my grapefruit since November - delicious ruby red. I'll have to wait & see the damage as the tree is shedding. It's a large old wonderful fruit producing tree - I have @ 300 grapefruit on it still.
I'll keep my fingers crossed.
This freeze will increase all prices for crops - its terrible

My lime tree and my grapefruit tree are obviously damaged due to the freeze. It's painful to see. I can't imagine the feelings of the citrus growers!

They just announced a head of lettuce will triple in price.
I'll miss my salads - I won't pay that price for a head of lettuce or spinach - $3.00 and higher..
