I'm BAAAACK! mwahahahahaha!

A potato:I'm white when peeled, have been known to get mashed - sometimes 'til I'm well and truly boiled; I roast when it's hot and I'm lightly oiled (phwoooar. Down girls) but I don't chip well.

Hmm. Could mean I'm a Maris Piper.:)

Clod,

Do you think that you have a better sense of humor than Jimbo, or is he just a wackadoodle:-6

mmm. Nice cottage pie for supper.

Hope: It's an old slang word for feet. Somebody commented on my intro page how they remembered their mum or someone telling them to get their clodhoppers off the furniture. Implication of big and clumsy and probably covered in mud.

Clod = lump of earth. Your feet are what you use to hop from clod to clod.

Also, I must admit, there is an implication of jumping up and down on idiots....:o since clod in english can also mean stupid insensitive person. Makes me giggle when people shorten it - in the friendliest possible way - to Clod on message boards!:wah::wah:

Jimbo: Never been into footie! Grew up in a rugby and cricket family (Dad played cricket for Surrey, Mum for Leicester Ladies and cousins of mine played rugby for Ballymena and once or twice for Ireland) - I suppose I could have supported Kettering Town or Leicester City, but well, would you?

Been a Tigers supporter since I was knee high, but it's not an obsession. Will go to see them play Ospreys at Twickenham in a week or two in the Anglo-Welsh Cup Final, but since Ospreys are 13/15ths of the Welsh national team and they are rather good, we are liable to get spanked. Will go anyway. The atmosphere will be great and we're likely to see a dazzling game. At present it's worth the admission fee just to see Shane Williams, who's probably the best winger in the world at the moment.

How did you find us here at the Forum Garden?

What kind of music do you prefer?

What color are your eyes?

What is your favorite season?

Okay, Jimbo, I think you've started something. :wah:

Computers. Took me ages to realise you have to log out twice to log out!:o

You married?

Divorced. Loved not wisely, but too well.

Have kids?

No.

Have pets?

No. Am trying to make garden a wildlife haven, so cats are out of the question. Hunt the local ones with a water pistol! :)Won't have a big dog in London and don't care for yappy small dogs.

CH is fine. Clod is fine. CHopper makes me feel like a cross between a bicycle, an axe-wielding maniac and a male member!:wah: (sorry C&B! It's no big deal)

Poetry comes and goes in waves. When I'm full blast it's one or more a day, but it can be ten years between poems. It's been about four since the last one. Often triggered by serious emotional stress. Attempt to convey the truth of something through words - not just the straightforward meaning, but also their emotional meaning and the way these things can be enhanced by the relationships between words stacked together using rhythm, alliteration, onomatopoeia and rhyme.

Typed "discussion forum" into Google and this was the first that came up.

There's little music that I don't like when the mood takes me, though much Country and Western leaves me cold - Oh, and crap rap bling bollox. Pink Floyd, Genesis, Kate Bush, Eurthymics, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Air are currently most listened to.

Blue/grey.

late spring/early summer. Yaay! Walkies!

Don't really know QOTSA, but thoroughly enjoyed the track you linked to. Death and the maiden is a powerful artistic combo.

Chuckle. I must be getting old! I recognise the band names you mention, but little else about them - would struggle to name a track from any of them. Really like Prodigy's Always outnumbered, never outgunned album, so perhaps there's some hope for me. :p

Chemical Brothers one about TV's wanting your soul was very clever, but I find after a couple of tracks my head starts imploding!:wah:

Generally speaking I don't need firing up, I need calming down (I am now in week three of giving up smoking and if anything it's seemed to get harder over the last few days), and pretty much all the music you refer to I would class as fire up music. Just a matter of preferred styles.

Imladris: May I suggest character assassination?

Now, I've noticed that he's keen to convince us all that he's got a HUUUUGE willy. You could try pointing out that those of us who DO actually have huge willies feel no need to point it out to everyone. I find a decorated codpiece does the job quite adequately.

diet coke. urgh. can't stand the stuff! Just taste the chemical sweetener!

Um. Now there's a thought - can't remember the last time I had a coke, or a tango, or a Lilt etc - seems I've given up fizzy non-alcoholic drinks without noticing! How odd!

Still a tea-aholic though! :)

1) Blue. Summer sky blue. Deep midnight blue.

2) mmm cake. Used to be fruit, now probably coffee and walnut. Eccles cakes are good, too, as are Jaffa cakes and lemon sponges.mmmm. chocolate sponge. dribble.

Perhaps I should just say "cake". (But when I'm feeling really naughty I think "Black Forest Gateau". :-4)

3) 44 this year (Yaay! Bastards still haven't got me:))

4) Some Like it Hot, Aliens, Fellowship of the Ring. Comedy and big bangs and primary colours. Don't go to the movies to be moved!
