I've had a word with the fairies at the bottom of my garden and they would like it to be known that they object to the word fairy being given this connotation. While in their society such predilictions are not unknown it is quite rare but generally speaking no one is offended since what one does in private causes ni great problem. The Fairy Queen herself is oft quoted as saying that trying to understand humans is a waste of time but admits to being slightly worreid that Elton John may be after her title.

This world is becoming so "PC" (I get nauseous when I write those 2 letters) that we will soon not be able to say anything in public, on the web or anywhere else for that matter without "fear" of offending someone. I heard the English series of Noddy books got censored because one began:
