The weather was perfect, the family was perfect, with a little playground for the kidlets, the food was overflowing, and the grounds were spacious! With 45 picnic tables reserved, all in one area, it was almost like a semi private gathering.
And to add to the enjoyment, for the gamblers in the crowd, (and there were many) all they had to do, was walk about 200 feet to the off site race-track betting booths, and bet to their hearts content!!! (one of the family members actually owned a horse that ran in the 6th race! All bet on it, including myself, "IT LOST!:wah:) And then watched the races on the many large outdoor TV screens all over the grounds. And for the real die-hard's, they walked another 200 or so feet to the actual "race-track & watched the races live!!!
A wonderful time was had by all at the reunion!
Now the entire family, can't wait for the next reunion!!!
