Disappointment

Post by Honneykit »

Hi everyone, thought I would give you an update to the lunch date I had on friday.

First Mr X as we will call him asked me to have lunch, and yes I agreed the day started with a few messages saying he was real excited on us meeting up and having lunch together. I chose the meeting place as I only had an hour and wanted to make the most of it! I arrive in the pouring rain to a quite but very chic place where I am greeted by Mr X oh my god he had deferred from the truth quite alot then Mr X decided he was not hungry so I missed lunch we had coffee and by the way I paid not that I minded but Mr X did not even attempt too.

He looked like he had not even made the effot and there was me the night before worrying about how I was going to look.

But it gets worse after 50 mins of general chit chat I have to leave and go back to work on leaving . I return to work and find Mr X has phoned and left amessage saying that he thinks I am so special. I think we were in two different places because there will not be another date that is for sure.:-4 No soul mate this time.
Hi guys love to you all..

The guy sounds totally thoughtless, and really weird. He asked you out and didn't even offer to pay? Schmuck. And then he tells you you're "special" after an hour? What a flake. You're better off, in my not-so-humble opinion.

teee heee Not a bad suggestion though, we could use a good FG romance!

But seriously Honney - don't be too dissappointed by it. You have to kiss a load of toads before you find your prince...

Maybe, but you may be able to narrow your search if you look for a toad with a crested ring and entourage. :D

Theres no other way I could meet a lady (if i were single). I'm not able to walk up to someone and make conversation and get to know someone that way. But on the net, where I can get to know someone, before I see how they look, kinda takes the pressure off. After all we're supposed to look on the inside not the outside...

The danger of lieing is well noted. But long before you meet, you can get a basic idea of them, web cams, voice messageing, phone calls, and then meeting... build slow, developing levels of trust. I have an Army buddy that met a women and they have a very loving sucessful marriage after meeting her over the net while he was in iraq.On the other hand, i wonder just how many people have got to know someone intimately on the net, know all about them, their age, likes and dislikes, stastistics, inside leg measurements! and totally fall for that person, their voice, their attitude, their whole persona and yet when meet dont find that person phsically attractive?

What a bummer!

Ok guys and gals I never met Mx Before date and When I did nothing he had said to me was true. Where as i had tried hard to be as honest as poss even sending photos to him the ones he sent me were noy even him what did he expect from that.

Today he called asking if we could date again as i am so special I had to be quiet firm in the no chace ever in this life time not because of what he looked like but the fact he lied what is the point in lying you always get caught out if not straight away then later on!
